Mr. Petersen is a geologist and geophysicist with experience performing environmental, hydrogeologic, and geophysical investigations related to groundwater management and remediation projects. He is proficient in the collection, processing, and interpretation of a variety of geophysical techniques, including seismic refraction, surface wave, downhole geophysical logging, electrical resistivity, and electromagnetics.
Mr. Petersen’s background centers on geomorphology and the physical processes by which glaciers shape the environment.
