We are now seeking candidates for our Summer 2025 intern program in SSP&A’s Rockville, Maryland office. If you are interested, please submit your cover letter and resume to careers@sspa.com with “Summer 2025 Internship: Rockville Office” as the email subject.
What to Expect
Our work includes the investigation and remediation of groundwater and soil contamination, regional aquifer analysis and water supply development, and computer modeling of hydrologic systems. Interns fully participate in ongoing projects and assist senior personnel in the interpretation of geochemical and/or hydrologic data related to remediation and water resource investigations. Tasks include compilation, analysis, and display (including GIS) of temporal and spatial data. In addition, interns with an interest in hydrogeology will be exposed to a variety of analytical and numerical models for the simulation of groundwater flow and solute transport. Specific prior experience is not required as the intern will be actively mentored, but an interest in hydrology or geochemistry is desirable.
