Mr. Odenkirk is a registered professional geologist with specialized expertise in water supply and groundwater resources, water quality and regulatory compliance, water system infrastructure, site characterization and remediation, environmental investigations and permitting, and construction management and oversight. His experience spans all phases of water resources projects – from planning, design, permitting, and construction management to maintenance and operational efficiency.
His experience includes conducting water source assessments and permitting; well design, development, installation, maintenance, and abandonments; resiliency and sustainability studies; groundwater production monitoring and management program development; rapid infiltration aquifer recharge and storage systems; watershed monitoring and budgeting; and public water supply regulatory reviews.
As an environmental scientist, Mr. Odenkirk has provided field oversight for state and federal environmental investigations and conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, aquifer testing and characterization, diesel spill emergency response characterization and excavation, soil farming bioremediation field testing, impacted soil and groundwater modeling assessments, groundwater pump-and-treat assessments, creosote-impacted soil dredging, plume identification, characterization, and monitoring, and groundwater, surface water, sediment, and soil sampling, as well as underground storage tank investigations and excavations. He has also completed a variety of due diligence and focused research projects.
