Mr. de Wit provides expertise in soil and groundwater remediation, surface-water/groundwater interactions, and facility waste characterization and demolition. He has managed site characterization and remediation programs, large-scale soil and groundwater sampling projects, and various construction-related activities. He has planned and executed major remediation projects including more than 30 years of oversight at a CERCLA site.
His experience includes supervision and direction of contractors for excavation and demolition, soil treatment, environmental remediation, slurry wall construction, pipeline construction, steel shoring and pile-driving, waste characterization and disposal, electrical contracting, asphalt paving and concrete, groundwater treatment systems, and general construction. He has managed soil and water sampling programs and coordinated laboratory sampling analyses.
