Mr. de Wit provides expertise in soil and groundwater remediation, surface-water/groundwater interactions, and facility waste characterization and demolition. He has managed site characterization and remediation programs, large-scale soil and groundwater sampling projects, and various construction-related activities. He has planned and executed major remediation projects including more than 30 years of oversight at a CERCLA site.

His experience includes supervision and direction of contractors for excavation and demolition, soil treatment, environmental remediation, slurry wall construction, pipeline construction, steel shoring and pile-driving, waste characterization and disposal, electrical contracting, asphalt paving and concrete, groundwater treatment systems, and general construction. He has managed soil and water sampling programs and coordinated laboratory sampling analyses. Mr. de Wit also serves as SSP&A’s Corporate Health and Safety Officer.
